POST 4: MUSIC

Hello! Today is the time to talk about music and for me, that sounds really abstract to express in words, I mean, how can I be able to tell you how many emotions I feel when I listen to music? Music is something that sets every day of my life, even sometimes I use music as a means of escape and a therapy way because maybe I feel more support and comfort in specific songs that remind me of many moments that right now only music can recreate in my head.

If you ask me what kind of music I like, the answer isn't absolute, because it varies and expands over time, it's like knowledge, and when I say it varies, just believe me, lately, my phone has many things ... but I think that a type of music that never interested me was metal or that kind of songs in which the vocalist shouts or makes guttural, because as I said at the beginning, I like the type of music that sets different moments and stages of my life and I think I've never felt the need to hear someone scream as loud and distorted as that kind of music usually does (I'm sorry if you listen to or like that kind of music, it's just me expressing my musical tastes).

Since my tastes are varied and, sometimes, uncommon, I don't usually listen to the radio, because for me these always fall on the same songs and are aimed at a certain type of audience that don't fit with me. I don't know how to explain it, but the radio never leaves its comfort zone, they only play the kind of music they know is popular and never takes risks with lesser-known new songs, bands or singers. So, most of the time, I usually listen to music on my phone, either from Soundcloud (a very good application with new content and recommendations for each person) and YouTube.

Well, even if I really like to listen to music, unfortunately, I don't sing or play any instrument, obviously, I would like to sing better, but that's not my case, so I just spend time looking for music. That's why I really appreciate and value the existence of all the people who make a great effort to share the music with us because I imagine how difficult it could be to dedicate themselves to something that the rest of the people despise as work but enjoy every day, it's ironic, don't you think? 

Living without music is something I could not imagine because now that I know it exists and that I personally use it daily, it is impossible to believe (at least for me) that things could be happening without any sound that accompanies them.
